Protecting individual privacy and your personal data is important to us. Therefore, any personal data collected by us will be with your knowledge and/or consent. Here we wish to outline what information we record and for what purposes this information is used.
What information do we record and for what purpose?
When you access this website, possible identification data (IP address) and other information (date, time, page viewed) are saved on our server for a period of two months for data security purposes. The data will not be used for any other purpose, with the exception of statistics and then only in such a way that ensures anonymity, or passed on to third parties.
We do not use cookies, Java Applets or Active X Controls.
ETI will treat any personal details sent when you access our home page in strictest confidence in accordance with the ruling provisions governing data protection at the company's home office. If you send us an e-mail or complete and submit the online forms on our website, your personal data (e.g. name or e-mail address) will be used only for our correspondence with you in order to send you the requested documents or information or for any other purpose explicitly stipulated on the individual form and shall not be passed on to third parties.
We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for the dialog forms provided on our web pages. SSL protects the data you send us against unauthorized third-party access. For your own security, therefore, please always use the dialog forms. If you send us unencrypted data in a standard e-mail, it is possible that unauthorized persons may gain access to or alter the data when it is transferred via the Internet.
Access to certain sections of our website is reserved for users with special authorization rights (e.g. for shareholders wishing to register for the Annual General Meeting). If in these areas for technical reasons or on legal grounds additional personal data are kept, or cookies are stored on the hard disk for the duration of the link (so-called Session Cookies), or active components are used, we expressly point this out there.
