- Travellers who ring for assistance from anywhere in the world connect to our dedicated Operations Section, manned by employees with a wide range of skills including fluency in approximately 20 languages, who instigate immediate action.
- This section is on permanent standby for emergency calls, arranging accommodation and repatriation when needed, liasing with travellers, relatives, hospitals and doctors.
- Our Medical Section employs qualified doctors and nurses, representing every branch of surgery and medicine, including psychiatry.
- At any hour of the day or night, our team of medical supervisors is on hand to check medical records, evaluate diagnoses and decide on appropriate treatment or repatriation.
- We have more than 250 doctors and nurses on permanent standby, plus specially trained crisis counsellors in the event of disaster, ready to be dispatched anywhere in the world.
- If an emergency air ambulance is needed, we send our own escorts with expertise in aviation medicine.
- We even have our own medical equipment needed for repatriations, together with the resources to deliver screened blood to any place, where use of blood is at a high risk.
