Yes. You will have to pay an excess under most sections of the policy. This means that each person covered under the policy will be responsible for paying the first part of the claim for each incident. Please see policy wording for further details.

The policy will not cover You when You take part in certain hazardous pursuit.

ETI International Travel Insurance issues most policy documentation as attachments via email within 2 working days on behalf of our Provider's. Unfortunately, due to the high level of Anti Virus Software and Spam Filters there may be occasion when this e-mail does not reach you. Therefore, if you have been advised that you should receive your documentation via email within 2 working days, but do not, please email customerserviceateti-insurance [dot] com specifying the following information:

1) The full name and title of the person who made the application – the “proposer”.

The policy contains a “cooling off” period which allows You to return the policy within 14 days obtain a full refund if you have a justifiable reason to be dissatisfied with the cover provided.

When you are purchasing a Travel Insurance policy for a single trip it is best to enter the dates of when you are actually traveling. Cover for cancellation or curtailment, if included in the policy you select, normally commences from date of purchase. ETI is required to provide product information in good time before the customer is bound by the terms of the contract. Any product available to buy through the website will have full product information available in the details page and this should be read before an application is submitted. ETI will provide details of the product information by email once the customer has submitted their application.

Certain exclusions may apply if you travel whilst you are pregnant. We would advise you to read the Policy Wording thoroughly, prior to purchasing the product. Please pay particular attention to any exclusions or limitations.

1) If a policyholder or a member of the policyholder’s immediate family is still in the UK or Ireland and wishes to cancel a holiday as a result of swine flu:
ETI will provide cover for cancellation of a holiday if the policyholder, or a member of the policyholder’s immediate family who is travelling with the policyholder, have been diagnosed by a medical practitioner with having contracted swine flu, or have been quarantined by a medical practitioner, and is in receipt of written supporting evidence.
